After the Kindy Class children graduate from Sun Preschool, they will continue their learning in Kindergarten. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Children can start kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn 5 on or before 31 July that year.

    All children must be in compulsory schooling by their 6th birthday.

    E.g. Child was born on June 2020; then they will be turning five in June 2025 or be 5 years and 7 months if they start Kindergarten in 2026.

  • Contact your local school to discuss enrolment procedures.

  • The local schools accept enrolments if you live within the ‘catchment’ area, i.e. if you live close to the school.
